Harvey’s Week:  11/03/2015-18/03/2015

Summary of leap 1:  This leap sees the rapid maturation of metabolism, internal organs and senses.  Together with a growth spurt in head circumference, a baby will be able to notice more of what’s happening in the world around him.

After this leap, Harvey

• looked at things longer & more frequently;

• responded to touch differently

• was more awake and alert

 Note:  Harvey didn’t give a social smile until around 8 weeks.
