As a Melbournian, you have many different festivals to look forward through the year.  Just simply check out the website like WHAT’S ON Melbourne and you will always find something to do.

The Moomba festival is generally held on the Labour Day weekend in Melbourne.  Rather than go away for the long weekend, Jaz & I decided to take Harvey to Moomba.  The festival is located along the Yarra River comprises with various events, activities and is very family friendly.  This year the weather was fantastic, overcast with a lovely breeze which make it fun to stroll along.

We got the festival after lunch, spent about 3 hours there and got home in time for Harvey’s dinner.  It was a relaxing day and Harvey has definitely enjoyed himself.   The event was buzzing (but not too crowded) and there are lots of thing to see for him.

Running around before we grabbed a bite to eat and had our little picnic.

We even went on the teapot ride of which made mum very dizzy afterwards!!!!

And finally took a tram ride back home.  What a fun day we all had!!!
