Life was definitely turned upside down during the first three months.  We were grateful for an easy non-complicated pregnancy, smooth birth and a healthy delightful baby boy.  It was the longest three months of our lives and it seemed to be a life-time since Harvey came into our lives.

We have improved our skills in teamwork and patience and supporting each other wherever we can.

Parenting is definitely a two person job and it is important that the dad be involved as much as mum despite the fact that he also has an 8 hour day job.  It has been challenging, fun and especially rewarding when we get to tick off each milestone Harvey achieves.

We both continuing to have our own time and work on our hobbies/interests.  It is very important not to loose ourselves and let parenting stop us doing other things we loved to do.
