Easter 2016

Easter – An extra long weekend 🙂 thanks to all the Christians for continuing their religious traditions 🙂  Our family normally doesn’t go away for the Easter holidays because:

  1. It’s during school holidays which means too busy and $$$$
  2. It is a perfect time of the year to hang around home, relax, Autumn clean and eat lots of food!

We kicked off on Good Friday with breakfast at our favourite local place where Harvey has his FIRST BABYCCINO!!!!  Yummm he sure does love it.

Then we went to MSAC (Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre) for a morning swim and an hour long intensive Squash round robin (thanks to our friend for organising it – great idea especially for us as we didn’t have to organise a babysitter).

For Easter Sunday – Harvey woke up and got excited as he found several easter eggs around the house!! Easter bunny hid some eggs around the area where Harvey normally goes.

We decided to go to Healesville Sanctuary as it was a nice day for a Sunday drive.  On the way to the zoo, we stopped by at one of Harvey’s great-nanna’s and went for a morning coffee where Harvey again, enjoyed another Babyccino!!!

More Babychino!!!
More Babyccino!!!

The Zoo trip was a semi-success as much as a toddler could appreciate it.  The zoo was okay and the bird show was probably one of the highlight features.  I think Harvey would have enjoyed the Melbourne Zoo more as it has more variety of active animals.  Here are some photos captured from our trip.
